Kathryn L. Scurry is the CEO/Founder of Queer Therapy Network MHP Houston Chapter and is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. She started her mission to help queer community members gain better access to mental healthcare providers, services, and support after going through her own struggles to find services that catered to her mental well-being.

Kathryn's journey to founding the Queer Therapy Network MHP Houston Chapter is a true testament to her dedication and resilience. Through her own experiences, she recognized the need for a safe and inclusive space where members of the LGBTQIA+ community could access the mental health support they deserve. Her passion for creating a welcoming environment where individuals can feel seen, heard, and valued shines through in her work.

 

By advocating for improved access to mental healthcare services tailored to the unique needs of the queer community, Kathryn is making a significant impact on the lives of many.
