Queer Therapy Network MHP Houston Chapter queer mental health professionals have access to Continued Education Training (CET) courses. These courses are designed to help mental health professionals who want to to keep their knowledge and skills up to date to provide competent and affirmative care to understand and better serve the LGBTQIA+ community.

Queer Therapy Network MHP Houston Chapter is committed to providing quality education and training to certified and postgraduate mental health professionals who want to learn more about LGBTQIA+ mental health. Continued Education Training (CET) courses can be taken as a refresher or way to earn (CEU) credits. Members taking these courses can expect to learn about the history and experiences of LGBTQIA+ people, their unique mental health , and evidence-based therapeutic approaches for working with LGBTQIA+ community members. The Continuing Education Courses (CET) courses are also available to non-members at $350 for the full course. All members and non-members who successfully complete the course will be issued a Certificate of Completion.
